Description:
A prestigious Investment Manager is seeking an experienced 1LOD AML professional to help maintain and enhance their strong Due Diligence culture.
Role Responsibilities
- Complete assessments on escalated referrals for new clients
- Investigate high risk clients and suspicious activity
- Manage and enhance the PEP tracker process
- Conduct Sanctions, Adverse Media and PEP reviews
- Run Transaction Reporting on suspicious cases
- Conduct MI and reporting, escalating to senior management where appropriate
- Conduct periodic reviews on high risk files
Role Requirements
- Previous AML experience, preferably within Asset Management
- Proven track record of an investigational approach to Due Diligence with high risk clients
- Confident and knowledgeable of PEPs, Sanctions and Adverse Media checks
- Strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail, can analyse data and spot trends/inconsistencies
- Ability to work alone under mínimal guidance
