Senior Care Assistant - Nights - Swanholme Court Care Home in Lincoln LN6, Part of the Country Court Family

Hours: 33 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Hours


Swanholme Court is situated in a quiet residential area of Lincoln and provides family-led residential care in a warm, homely setting.

The home is small and cosy, with a real family atmosphere.

Our caring and compassionate staff led by the Manager, get to know each resident individually, providing personalised care and really helping them enjoy daily life at Swanholme.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping our residents with personal support and care.
  • Aiding their emotional wellbeing and social needs
  • Administration and monitoring of medications to residents Supporting residents at meal times
  • Interacting with our residents on a personal level
  • Maintaining care plans
  • Supporting residents at meals time

  • Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
  • Be no stranger to working night shifts
  • Have a friendly & caring attitude.
  • Able to engage well with the residents and their families
  • Have an understanding of people with Dementia
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
  • Great communication skills, both written & verbal.

Senior Carer, dementia, Alzheimer's, older people, nursing, nurse, senior care assistant, SCA, leadership, NVQ level 2, NVQ Level 3, Nurse Assistant, Senior Support Worker, Senior Care Worker, Senior Support, team leader.
