Hull City Council are looking to recruit a Support Officer within their Employment Inclusion team.


We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Service Support Officer who is committed in providing efficient and effective administration support.

The post holder will be required to undertake a high volume of administration tasks, therefore, should have previous experience in an administrative role.

We require strong attention to detail and accuracy skills coupled with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with procedures and practices to support the delivery of efficient front-line services.

The role will involve providing effective customer focussed support.

This includes arranging meetings, minute taking, basic financial transactions using Oracle and monitoring, maintaining databases / data entry, reception duties meeting and greeting customers and other general administrative functions.

Ability to use Microsoft office systems is essential.


You must have excellent organisational skills to manage time and priorities in a busy and constantly changing environment, and to be adaptable in meeting the priorities of a multi-disciplinary team working to fixed deadlines.

Knowledge of the Freedom of Information and Data Protection Acts to facilitate compliance with current legislation in service delivery is also essential for this role.
