You will be joining a strong and established team which focuses on improving the patient pathway to promote high standards of patient care, outcomes, experience, safety and quality.

All our 3 endoscopy sites at HHFT are fully JAG accredited unit.


As a member of our Endoscopy Team you will be responsible for meeting both national and local targets as the service expands and develops in-line with both JAG and BSG requirements.

Using advanced clinical skills, you will be assessing and diagnosing, treating and prescribing care plans for our patients.


The post holder will be directly responsible for the efficient and effective provision of the nurse endoscopy service in conjunction with other members of the multidisciplinary team.

They will work with the MDT to ensure the development, management and delivery of a high quality general and specialist endoscopy service.

The post holder will undertake upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy in all 3 disciplines e.g. gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy as well as running a nurse-led patient clinic within the Trust.

Our Endoscopy units provide facilities for patients who require planned/urgent/emergency Endoscopic procedures and interventional radiological procedures.

The aim of the nursing and ancillary staff in the Endoscopy unit is to provide a safe, caring and friendly service to the hospital and community.
