Job Summary

About the role


We have two People Team Officers in the People & Culture Team at AIUK, each reporting to a People Partner who supports an assigned area of the organisation.

The Officer will provide valuable advice and support to managers and colleagues at all stages of the employee lifecycle such as recruitment, absence management and wellbeing, escalating to the People Partner where appropriate.

They will also be involving in the continual improvement of our processes and support other areas of work such as inclusion, data and learning, with some of the progressive projects in our People & Culture plan.

The role may be for you if:

  • You're skilled in communicating policies or procedures in an inclusive way to a variety of audiences and you can guide managers and colleagues to ensure their effective implementation
  • You have attention to detail and can work proactively to solve problems.
  • You collaborate and positively contribute to an inclusive culture.
  • You also have a good knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems, Applicant Tracking Systems and UK employment law,
