MYM Recruitment are excited to be working with our new Coleraine client. They now wish to recruit a highly driven
Trainee Service Advisor to join their busy customer service team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a person to grow your career with an extremely successful business and to develop your skillset by learning and working alongside our established Customer Service department.

Whilst this is an entry-level position, there are very real prospects for career progression within 12-18 months.


Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Assisting in the implementation of overall warranty procedures and policies in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Booking in service visits for customer machines (live link / customer call / engineer request / sales referral) including any additional work required with a full understanding of the product, system, customer account including pricing, programmes and any technical knowledge would be an advantage
  • Completion of customer invoicing, with a clear understanding of customer accounts, all work that has been completed and when and where the escalation process would be brought in
  • Taking responsibility for department growth and retail opportunities within your control, by understanding your product, customers & campaign awareness
  • Proactively endorse the brand, by having a clear understanding of the history and heritage and how that can support loyalty in the culture
  • Be aware of legislation around the role of aftersales to ensure all is adhered to e.g. health and safety, policies and procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Other general administration duties, such as running various daily, weekly and monthly reports, updating customer database and general administrative duties.
  • Ad hoc duties commensurate with the position

Essential Criteria:


  • An excellent level of computer literacy is essential
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and ensure accuracy of a very high standard
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) at all levels, both internally and externally, in a professional manner (must be confident with telephone communication)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently
  • Be a fast learner
  • Be organised, methodical, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team and be able to work on own initiative
  • Have a warm, friendly and outgoing personality
  • Be willing to accept change and have the ability to be flexible to adapt accordingly as business needs require

Desirable Criteria:


  • Experience of working within an administration role in a fast paced business setting would be advantageous
