Banking, Accounts Payable and Expenses Manager, Leatherhead, £40,000 + bonus & home working or hybrid working
Temp - Perm an option - Our client, a well-respected Services organisation based in Leatherhead wish to recruit a commercial Manager to oversee the Banking and Accounts Payable function, whilst also supervising a team.

The role and responsibilities
- Active management of team, workloads, performance reviews, objective setting, onetoones and team meetings
- Drive and embody a positive culture within the team
- Management of providing training to company employees on expense policy and PO system when required
- Business partnering with the accounting team and wider business, building and maintaining positive working relationships
- Own and administer the Travel & Expense policy
- Project lead for automation of manual payments
- Production and enhancement of monthly reporting packs
- Involvement / management of implementation of Finance projects as and when required
- Overseeing daily bank reconciliations, including loading bank and transactional files
- Management of clearing bank reconciling items on a timely and efficient basis, escalating where necessary
- Ensure any bank transfer journals are posted each day into the General Ledger
- Responsibility for the Accounts Payable function, employee expenses & credit card payments
- Management of the processing of invoices and expenses to nominal ledgers
- Review of all AP related monthly reconciliations
- Control of manual payments process: cash management, team roster, authorised signatories
- Review and release of payments on the online banking facilities
- Administration of Banking system and signatory mandate
- Review and submit the Prompt Payment report in accordance with Reporting on Payment practices
- Produce and manage monthly Management Information reports
- Run with relevant software system upgrades
Skills and Experience
The successful Banking, Accounts Payable and Expenses Manager will possess the following attributes:
- Working in a similar Accounts Payable role
- Experience Managing a team and promoting/embracing a positive culture
- Excellent communication skills
- Tech Savvy
- Knowledge of Payroll and Car Fleet to provide holiday cover in this department (UK & Ireland)
Salary and Benefits
- Salary is set by Fletcher George as a guide of £40,000

The company is based in Leatherhead however the successful applicant may
