Sure Maintenance Ltd, part of the Sureserve Group, is one of the UK's leading specialists in Heating Repairs, Maintenance and Installations.

They are looking to recruit conscientious and enthusiastic Gas Supervisor to work as part of an existing team looking after their social housing clients in the South West region.

Along with the Contract Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of engineers to ensure quality delivery of gas servicing and maintenance works.

Must have a professional attitude and keen desire for future development of the business, creating an environment which encourages employee development, good employee relations, teambuilding, and quality standards.

Role would suit an experienced engineer looking to make the step into management or someone looking to join a supportive and hard-working team dedicated to excellent service delivery.

This is a Working Supervisor role and you will be required to attend jobs and go on the callout rota as required.

Duties include:

Dealing with daytoday engineers' enquiries from gas engineers
Provide technical support to gas engineers over the phone when required.
Mentoring and coaching the team of engineers including newly qualified engineers
Delivering tool box talks
Working closely with the administration team supporting with operational queries and customer complaints
On site visits with engineers if required
Building strong relationships with the client and acting as first point of contact
Conducting return to work interviews
Checking and approving engineers' worksheets
Scrutinising works and ensure all jobs are invoiced as appropriate
Investigate internal/external audits failures
Ensuring correct parts are ordered
Updating OOH rota
Job costing and sending referrals to clients
