We're seeking a future team member for the role of Fiduciary Oversight Manager to join our Fiduciary Oversight team. This role involves undertaking risk based regulatory evaluation exercises of our clients and their service providers. This role is located in Edinburgh, UK - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead and manage the activity surrounding the preparation, completion and follow up of all due diligences to be performed on management companies, AIFMs and third parties
  • Manage due diligence for new clients including service provides to assess ongoing oversight requirements
  • Follow and enhance the procedures and controls designed to ensure activity is performed according to our control environment
  • Work with Depositary colleagues to ensure timely and accurate completion of client exercises
  • Attain client acceptance of exercise findings and achieve their positive perception to our recommendations and agreed actions post exercise
  • Risk Based Approach implementation
  • Change agent enabler
  • Accountable for building strong client relationships and delivering client service excellence
  • Proactive participation in team meetings and providing training to other team members
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Any additional qualifications in financial markets will be a plus (Masters, Diploma, etc)
  • Good experience within the funds industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Attention to detail, good interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multitask, in a deadline driven environment
  • Proven experience of compliance oversight / auditing techniques and investment management company oversight
  • Knowledge of the UK COLL, UCITS and AIFM laws and regulations
