Oakwell Children's Nursery is a fantastic nursery looking after children from birth to attending Primary School.

In partnership with West Lothian Council we offer pre-school funding which in turn regulates a very high standard of delivery.

The successful practitioner will have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • Minimum HNC/SVQ3 in a relevant childcare qualification and registered with SSSC.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a childcare setting
  • Experience of planning, observations and assessments.
  • A good sound knowledge of Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence and GIRFEC.

Salary:
£11 per hour


Working Pattern: 20/24 hours spread out over 4 days, with 1 days off per week (Friday) Hours will be 9am-2pm (20 hours) or 9am-3pm (24 hours).

No parents enter the building at pick up and drop off. Heightened cleaning and hygiene regimes are in place with multiple handwashing stations. Interviews will be socially distanced
