Do you enjoy supporting and developing children? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity where you can inspire children? Opus Education are looking for an Outdoor Education Support Assistant to work at a highly recognised SEN school supporting children.

Do you enjoy being outdoors and work hard to ensure children are as connected with nature as much as possible?
Are you creative in your approach with a positive attitude?
Are you experienced in implementing fun and alternative activities to further children's learning and development?
Do you have a passion for outdoor education and learning outside the classroom?

The setting is a school for children who learn within mainstream National Curriculum expectations but who experience difficulties arising from communication and interaction.

Many of the pupils have a diagnosis of SEMH needs.

The school is a calm, friendly and exciting place to work with superb space and facilities, a committed and welcoming team of staff and strong, supportive management.

Attributes needed:

A passion for supporting SEN students
Personal participation in outdoor and adventurous activities
English and Maths GCSE at grade C/4 or equivalent
Experience of youth work or working with emotional, learning, and behavioural difficulties
Full driving license with access to a vehicle
