Camberwell Lodge, in Camberwell, London, Part of The Country Court Family
Hours:
Part Time 24 Hours per week, working over 3 days (Hours to be discussed at Interview)
Our recently opened home, Camberwell Lodge Care & Nursing Home is located in Camberwell, London, where our new team offer a 5* experience to all our residents, from fine dining to every day care needs as well as sharing great moments and memories

ABOUT THE MAINTENANCE PERSON ROLE
Within your role as Maintenance Person, you will be working with the Home Manager to ensure that our home is maintained to the highest of standards.
- Ensure that all the property remains in a safe and structural condition and that all utilities are fully operational.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment used are stored in a safe place for the protection and safety of residents and staff & ensure that the storage of all cleaning and dangerous materials conform to the Home's COSHH policy
- Complete the various maintenance, fire and health and safety checks as advised by the Home Manager.
- Carry out light plumbing, electrical and carpentry work, in line with skill levels and qualifications, as well as decorating.
- Undertake gardening duties and tend to the garden, including shrubs and pruning, watering of hanging baskets & eradication of weeds
- Undertake the painting of all external fencing and garden furniture contained within the homes gardens and to ensure the maintenance and repair (including painting) of all fences.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking an experienced individual who can share our very own family values would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people's lives
- At least 1 years' experience as a maintenance person
- Have knowledge or understanding of a wide range of traditional building trades & gardening
- Knowledge or understanding of health & safety at work, particularly moving and handling techniques and COSHH assessments
- Have the ability to own issues to resolutions
- Have strong written & verbal communication skills
- Knowledge or understanding of the care sector
- A valid driving licence is required for this role
