Salary:
£19,000 per annum

Hours:
Full-time or part-time considered (core shifts are: 8:30am - 5.30pm / 9am -6pm / 9.30am -6.30pm)
PPRUK are working with an Independent Outpatient Pharmacy, based within a hospital setting in Southampton, Hampshire. They are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate Pharmacy Assistant to join their expanding, uniquely friendly, and dynamic team.

Their pharmacy provides a range of over-the-counter medicines and products, as well as pharmacy services for hospital staff, outpatients, and visitors.


Working within an Outpatients Pharmacy at a busy general hospital is hugely rewarding and we are looking for someone who is willing to go above and beyond for our patients.


Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the dispensing of prescriptions
  • Providing highquality customer service and advice
  • Maintaining accurate records and patient information
  • Assisting with stock control and management
  • Ensuring the pharmacy is clean, tidy, and wellstocked at all times

Requirements:


  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good organisational and timemanagement skills
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy Services desirable but not essential
They offer flexible working options whilst having the opportunity to develop professionally. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday (09:00 - 18:00) and Saturday mornings (09:00 - 13:00). They also offer a 30 or 60-minute lunch break (unpaid) and a NEST pension.
