Machine Tool Fitter - Permanent:


  • Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:
  • We are looking for a Machine Tool Fitter for a permanent position in Sheffield.
  • Job responsibilities:
  • Experience repairing and maintaining large vertical borers particularly Webster and Bennett machines and various large capacity lathe machines. Experience of rotating machinery is also important.
  • A recognised mechanical apprenticeship (4year) is critical.
  • Experience fault finding and problem solving of a range of engineering equipment, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and willing to take on nonengineering duties to support the plant.
  • AssistIing the site maintenance team with the installation and commissioning of brandnew machinery.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
This will be working alternative mornings (6am to 2pm) and days (12pm to 10pm).

  • Rate of pay is £14.05 per hour. Overtime rates will apply
  • Dutton Recruitment are working as an Employment Business on behalf of our client.
