Infrastructure Consultant

Salary Range:
Up to £75,000


Job Type:
Permanent


Hybrid Model: 3 days a week onsite


Office Location:
Southampton


Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing up to 3rd line support to the technology teams
  • Dealing with design documentation and creating lowlevel designs (LLDs)
  • Dealing with maintenance and incident management of technologies
  • Liaise with thirdparty vendors to deal with relevant issues
  • Providing support for the server and storage across the organisation datacentres

Essential Technology / Skills:


  • 3rd line support experience
  • Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Strong skills with VMware products (vSphere, vCenter)
  • Windows server, Active Directory and Group Policy support experience
  • Knowledge of Backup and Disaster Recovery processes
  • Dealing with WAN and LAN technologies
  • Experience in hyperconverged environments such as Dell VXRail
