Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm

The Location


Closeburn House is an eleven bed registered Children's home, supporting Children and Young People from the ages of years and is dedicated to build incredible futures by giving the Children and Young People opportunities, developing their life skillsand personal interests.


Our home is based in Closeburn in Dumfriesshire and is within commuting distance of Dumfries and Lockerbie towns.

The Opportunity


As an Office Manager with Options Autism, you will assist with the strategic day-to-day running of the facility; this will include assisting with finance, IT, infrastructure and maintenance along with helping the Manager with the growth plans for the ResidentialHome and School.

You will make decisions focused in a way that maximises children's achievement and ability to develop.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is calm, organised and resilient and who wants to help to make a difference to children withvaried and complex needs.

Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a residential home where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where children are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisionsas possible.


Whilst previous experience would be desirable, excellent organisational skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.


You will also have the opportunity to manage and develop a number of residential support staff such as Administrators, Catering Manager and Maintenance manager and so a strong sense of Leadership would be essential.
