ABOUT THE TEAM


An exciting opportunity to join two senior Relationship Managers focusing on developing a book of Ultra High Net Worth clients.

Directly assist some of the most sophisticated and interesting clients in Wealth Management and form part of the broader UBP LondonTeam.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


The primary responsibility of the Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) is to work as a Team with dedicated Relationship Managers, enabling them to focus on deepeningtheir relationship with the existing client book and acquire new relationships.

To provideimpeccable client service, in an efficient and timely manner.

An ARM supports with the day-to-day administration of the Bank's relationship with Private Banking clients, understanding their requirements and needs and acting accordingly in their best interests,in a regulatory compliant and commercial manner.


MAIN DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Work as a team with the dedicated Relationship Managers (RMs), management and support functions to draw excellent client outcomes and free the RMs time
  • Multitask, prioritise efficiently time constrained tasks while simultaneously managing efficiently longerterm tasks. With the ability to work in a highly pressurised environment by meeting both client and internal deadlines
  • Generating client update presentations and pitchbooks
  • Executing client orders (FX, Cash, Equities, Fixed Income etc.)
  • Research, review and submit mortgage and Lombard loan requests
  • Preparing client meetings and completing resulting followups
  • Processing client account opening from inception to completion, including gathering all necessary KYC and AML documentation
  • Strong knowledge of the Know Your Client (KYC) and Source of Wealth (SOW) requirements and being able to research publicly available information on clients and prospects and summarise them efficiently in a chronological order, including referring to theevidence found, according to the bank's requirements
  • Initiate projects to enhance existing processes and contribute ideas for improvements to the team and to management
  • Ability to get things done, utilise persuasion skills and find solutions
  • High attention to details, ability to learn new procedures and systems quickly
  • Can do attitude and ability to form trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
  • To adhere to the Bank's Policies and Procedures and act in accordance with the regulatory requirements and standards under the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA and Prudential Conduct Authority (PRA). To undertake to comply with the principles and codesand practices for approved persons and the rules of the FCA and PRA

Qualifications:

Possess a Commercial/Finance/banking oriented education and degree


Skills and Knowledge:


  • Experience of working as an assistant in private banking or in another client facing front office role
  • A good understanding of the private client industry and its products
  • You understand and enjoy dealing with sophisticated private investors
  • You are a strong team player who is highly organised, logical in your approach, have an eye for detail, and are able to handle many parallel tasks
  • You are a selfstarter who is able to identify and solve problems independently
  • You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communications skills written and verbal, additional languages are beneficial
  • Previous experience onboarding complex, UHNW structures (including trust and corporate accounts)
