We are in search of an enthusiastic individual with a deep passion for youth work to join our frontline delivery team.
As a crucial member of this team, you will step into the roles of mentor, leader, and advocate for our Youth Leadership Group "Youth Power," as well as other young people within the organisation.
The Role requires a person dedicated to empowering and motivating young people to cultivate crucial leadership skills, nurture personal growth, and instill a sense of responsibility. Through encouragement and guidance, the postholder will inspire them to actively participate and contribute within Fight For Peace with focus on facilitating, mentoring, and supporting Youth Power members on their journey to becoming confident and capable leaders.
You will:
- Lead interactive sessions, discussions, and activities to create personal development opportunities for communication skills, teamwork, problemsolving capabilities, leadership abilities and selfconfidence.
- Foster positive relationships with youth participants and maintain high levels of engagement.
- Organise and coordinate youth leadership activities internally.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and participant progress, collecting feedback and data to assess the effectiveness of youth leadership initiatives and inform future program planning.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in youth leadership and youth work.
- Conduct needs assessments regularly, making internal and external referrals.
