Head of Facilities Management

£70,000 - £75,000 plus excellent benefits

Thames Valley Police is the largest non-metropolitan force in England and Wales and has a substantial portfolio spread across the three counties of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

The Force polices a wide variety of locations, including major towns and cities, such as Oxford, Reading and Milton Keynes, as well as extensive rural communities and a number of thriving market towns.


The Force has a significant and diverse property portfolio of some 140,000 sq m comprising of a variety of property types including police stations, residential accommodation, training facilities, industrial assets, and various specialist facilities.


The Head of Facilities is a member of the Property Services Department's Senior Management Team with overall responsibility for the delivery of a wide range of FM services and contracts covering the whole of the force area.

This is a challenging and varied role with a force-wide remit and requires the post-holder to possess in depth experience in providing a high standard of customer service in the delivery of a range of both hard and soft FM services.


This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to develop their career in a client-side, facilities management leadership role, responsible for a large and varied estate portfolio.

First stage interviews with MRG are scheduled for w/c 25th March 2024.
Interviews with TVP are anticipated to be held during the week commencing April 24th 2024.
