Job summary:
DWP is looking to fill a HEO role in Retirement Services.
This role is part of the Retirement Services State Pension Enabling Service (On-boarding and Capability strand).
The role is pivotal to the successful on-boarding on new people onto High Profile correction exercise and monitoring teams progress through their Learning Routeway working closely with Quality and Capability Assurance HEO Leaders.
It is a fast-paced role that involves flexible working to meet tight timescales and interaction with a range of stakeholders at all levels including senior leaders.
The role suits self-starters, who are outward facing, capable of working within and across teams and who can build strong and collaborative relationships with a diverse mix of people at all levels.
You should have a strong track record in leadership, the resilience to operate in a busy and highly scrutinised environment and be able to communicate and influence effectively.
Job description:
- To develop and maintain robust onboarding/ L & D plans to support exercise recruitment plans and ongoing deployment.
- Secure Training as per the agreed recruitment plans and make ongoing changes as and when required working closely with People and Capability.
- Lead Communication sessions with New Team's and Team Leaders providing an overview of LEAP Learning Journey and Support available.
- Explore and review Team Leader Upskilling requirements and work with colleagues to build into
- Lead the on—boarding planning and implementation working with colleagues in both Enabling Services and Delivery to Impact future onboarding plans and play a critical role in ensuring sufficient resources available to support Learning Routeway
- Maintain robust data on progress against L & D assumptions and highlight any risk to Senior Leaders at the earliest opportunity.
- Maintain and update Level 1 Milestone Plan on a monthly basis working with Key Stakeholders to ensure progress against task.
- Provide regular written and verbal updates to Senior Leaders against progress of Learning and recruitment opportunities.
- Developing a keen understanding of the SP Delivery Team objectives, effectively prioritising meetings and events.
- Working collaboratively across teams within the SP LEAP Delivery Team and beyond to support the delivery of business objectives and priorities.
- Building and maintaining good stakeholder relationships / networks to provide excellent customer service.
- Acting as single point of contact for all onboarding and reporting queries and ensuring the detailed requests are communicated in a timely manner.
