**This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding start-up focused to solve the global problem of water pollution. In line with growth, they are searching for an experienced Product Development Scientist to be involved in the process development and scaleup of their material product out of the lab into pilot scale and beyond.

What you'll be doing:
:

Design, optimise and troubleshoot any processes needed for production scale up considering the cost, reproducibility, and safety.
Lead in the technology transfer of the material product from the lab to pilot scale and beyond.
Troubleshoot and optimise lab/pilot scale processes for scale up, considering cost, safety, reproducibility, purity, and environmental impact.
Involved in process development to optimise conditions for the scaling up.

What experience you'll need to apply?:

Practical experience and knowledge of working in a scale up environment and having scaled products from lab to full scale manufacture.
To understand material characterisation and analytical techniques.
To have experience with process development and optimisation.
A background within chemistry, chemical engineering or process engineering.
