Personal Assistant

We are looking to recruit an experienced PA to support two of our Executives - Operations Director and Engineering Director (within Marshall Land Systems).


This key hire will support these teams' internal & external customers, co-ordinating schedules and working with leadership teams across Marshall.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the business.
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
  • Extensive diary management and managing schedules across different time zones.
  • Arranging meetings (internal and external) and ensuring the owners are well prepared for meetings.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority.
  • Booking travel arrangements and managing the logistics to create itineraries.
  • Maintaining appropriate office systems, including data management and filing.
  • Minute taking and distribution.
  • Acting as liaison between all functions to facilitate effective communication.
  • Creating power point presentations.
You are likely to have most of the following:

  • Solid previous experience of working as a PA within a professional environment, supporting at C-Suite.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills and establishing priorities.
  • Problem analysis and problemsolving skills using own initiative.
  • Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under time pressure.
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection legislation.
  • Attention to detail, and a serviceoriented attitude.
  • Adaptability, flexibility and continuous enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work with a degree of selfdirection and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritising multiple tasks, and using good judgment to resolve problems.
  • Extremely reliable and dependable.


Based in the UK, with operations in Canada, Marshall Land Systems specialises in the design and production of deployable operational infrastructure and mission support for humanitarian, defence and security operations across the globe.


Other core services include the integration of complex systems into a range of vehicles for use by the military and security services including explosive ordnance disposal and battlefield ambulances all underpinned by a full in-life managed service provision to ensure customers' equipment is available where and when they need it.
