What you'll be doing:


  • Understanding and deploying quality engineering techniques on new programmes
  • Supporting Quality Lessons Learnt forums and embedding Failure Avoidance techniques in upfront design engineering
  • Conducting business process improvement projects using Value Stream Mapping
  • Leading supplier quality improvement projects E2E
  • Developing, maintaining and managing key relationships in the business both internally and externally
  • Leading a multidisciplined team to ensure that both customer and business requirements are met

Your skills and experiences:


  • Demonstrable Quality Engineering Project skills (Lean Six Sigma advantageous etc)
  • Project Management experience
  • APQP/PPAP (AS9145) or FAIR (First Article Inspection Reports
  • AS9102 or AS9103)
  • Analytical Skills (trend analysis etc)
  • Manufacturing / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering experience or Equivalent

The Quality team:


As a Quality Leader, you will be responsible for managing quality engineering projects on new programmes and ensuring that lessons learnt (Failure Mode Avoidance) from previous programmes are fed into new designs to mitigate risks.
