Warehouse Supervisor,
St Helens, Merseyside

Resolve Recruitment are working with a fast-growing timber distribution company based in St Helens, Merseyside, that are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.

The Role:

Performing team meetings, toolbox talks and start of shift briefings, ensuring colleagues are informed of targets and expectations.
Aiding in the introduction process of new staff, carry out training of all picking/checking staff.
Producing daily reports on team performance and deadlines using the WMS.
Managing and implementing the daily work plan to ensure production is at its most efficient
Monitor accuracy of all outbound goods.
Organise and supervise picking / checking process.
Manage the inbound unloading, checking, and receipting of goods.
Complete inbound paperwork as per company procedures.
Monitor staff performance against set targets, motivate, coach and challenge staff to help them reach their objectives
Ensure company housekeeping standards are maintained, along with full adherence to health and safety policy procedures.
Assist in employee training, development, and engagement with monthly performance reviews.
Any other duties reasonably requested by management
Address and handle any production issues as soon as possible.

The person:

Must have proof of right to work within the UK
Experience in similar people management position

Experience working in a timber environment is essential:

Excellent communication skills
Able to work in a fastpaced warehouse/ distribution environment
Experience with warehouse / pda functionality
Capable of working unsupervised
Must have a strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations

- £30,000 per annum
