Description

The purpose of this job is the production of design drawings of Armfibre products, within the required timescale and engineering specifications.

The job is primarily based around the use of Autocad 2D and Inventor 3D Software.

The job will involve the design of glass reinforced plastic (GRP) composite components for the Water Treatment industry.

This position reports to Engineering's Operations Manager.

Working hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm.

  • Principle Responsibilities:_
To liase with both clients and internal staff on all aspects of the design process as required.


The design and drawing of components and assemblies as required by the client specifications and in accordance with Engineering's standards.

To ensure that account is taken of the cost limitations placed upon the projects designed.

Ensure that designs are stored and issued in accordance with the relevant procedures.

To ensure that all work is adequately approved prior to issue, both in-house and the client.

It will be necessary to perform site and client visits to facilitate the design.

To issue all the information for completion of the Company's projects.

To schedule the work required to meet the project deadlines.

Any other duties that may be deemed necessary from time to time.

**Current driving licence is essential.
