Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Non-Medical Prescriber to join our team in Southampton Central Community Mental Health Team.


You will be joining an experienced, inclusive, and supportive team, working with adults with severe or enduring mental health needs.


The post holder will be expected to provide assessment and treatment for service users under the CMHT, including the prescribing of medications.

You will be working in the outpatient clinics alongside the Consultant Psychiatrists, reviewing and adjusting medications, as well as providing advice and guidance to GPs, other professionals and service users.


As a team, we are passionate about providing a service of the highest quality that is safe, effective, compassionate, and responsive.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in central Southampton, a diverse, multi-cultural area which also has two large universities on its patch.

There are also high levels of social deprivation and homelessness so an interest in these issues would be advantageous.
