About the department:


As an apprentice, you will be welcomed into our dedicated and skilled Money Advice team, making a real difference to our residents by helping them to maximise their incomes and provide them with advice, support and assistance to enhance their financial circumstances and wellbeing.


Role Information:

Do you want to make a difference to people and help improve their quality of life?


As an Apprentice, you'll be helping the Money Advice team in providing a highly visible community-based service, engaging with residents daily.


With empathy and understanding of the financial challenges facing vulnerable residents in the current climate, you'll train to help deliver a responsive and sensitive service to those who are at risk and will help assess what kind of support they need.


Over your apprenticeship period, you'll strive to improve the quality of life for residents and provide advice, guidance and assistance on how to make the most of their income, any benefits they are entitled to and improve financial wellbeing to reduce the risk of rent arrears to help them sustain their tenancies.


You will be someone who has empathy, wants to progress by simply helping people but is also interested in gaining qualifications while learning in the specialised field of welfare benefits.


You'll be responsive to the individual needs of residents and you're a great communicator, putting customers at the heart of everything you do.


You will be confident in having direct contact with residents and enjoy having personal responsibility, working and learning from your colleagues and be part of a great passionate and dedicated team.
