3 days a week -
Mon, Tues & Wed - 24 hours a week

Based in the Neath, South Wales office

Salary:
£24000 pro rata plus £900 Flexible Benefits

Are you based near Neath and have the following qualifications?

  • Good standard of general education
  • A Levels / College education preferred
  • A degree or training qualification would be advantageous

Do you have the following Knowledge & Experience?

  • Able to work individually, or as part of a team.
  • Good oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a training environment.
  • Must be able to communicate in a professional manner and in a pressurised environment.
  • Highly organised and efficient.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
  • Experience of recording accurate data and attention to detail.
  • Proficient organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to deliver NVQs, Gas Safe, VS02, etc would be a major plus.

Main Purpose of Role:


To provide a high quality and professional training/competency development service by ensuring efficient and effective training administration, marketing courses and ensuring trainees are provided with key information on training and competency processes and procedures.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Training Administration Manager with the delivery of annual plans for marketing and delivery of Penspen internal and external courses including NVQs, Gas Safe, VS02, etc.
  • Daily administration of the Training Matrix, STCs and training folders.
  • Providing employees training records and other competence related information to managers, supervisors and clients as requested.
  • Booking and organisation of all required training courses.
  • Scheduling and preparation for the delivery of internal & external Training Courses for Asset Management.
  • Monitoring and collation of training records and certifications.
  • Administration of Penspen's Safety & Technical Competency (STC) process.
  • Liaising with external agencies for suitable contractors.
  • Supporting the delivery of inductions.
  • Liaising with the HR department for new starters and assistance with HR related queries.
  • Ordering of stationery as and when required.
  • Liaising with the HR department to facilitate the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Assisting the Operations Team with administration tasks when required
  • To be aware of company and building requirements for fire, health, safety and environmental procedures.
  • To comply with the above procedures as applicable for the role.
  • To bring to the attention of the QHSE Department any failures, that are in breach of the Company QHSE policies and processes and any possible dangerous situations.

Pay:
£15,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
