We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated Support Medical Secretaries to join our expanding team.Applicants must have a knowledge of medical terminology and experience of audio typing. Being a team player is essential along with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
A working knowledge of office procedures and Microsoft packages is required however, training will be provided in the use of Trust systems.
Following a minimum period of 12 weeks induction and training we would be happy to discuss a blended working pattern as a flexible working option.
An excellent knowledge of medical terminology along with excellent keyboard and audio typing skills are essential as the role involves medical audio typing.

The role would also be suitable for flexibility around working hours.
The Secretary of State has approved the partnership between St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals and Southport & Ormskirk Hospitals.
On 1stJuly we came together as a single organisation under the name Mersey & West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
