GBS Apprenticeships are recruiting for a leading foodservice wholesaler in the UK.

Are you looking for that first role? Then we have an exciting opportunity to help you take that first step in to learning and developing new skills whilst supporting their Depot Operations team.

If you are looking for variety, personal development and growth whilst earning then this could be just for you.

They are looking to expand their team in their Gateshead depot and develop future talent to support their Warehouse Admin and QHSE (Quality, Health, and Safety & Environment) teams.

Reporting to the departmental managers and working with a dedicated mentor within a small team you will be helping to support their Warehouse and QHSE departments.

Alongside your role you will be working towards achieving your Level 3 Business Administration qualification.

The QHSE you will be looking at Health and Safety, Legalities and helping to develop an analytical mind-set

Your duties will include effective handling of inbound and outbound calls, and the provision of solutions to service issues, audit preparation and accident compliance.

But don't worry full training will be given and you will be supported through the journey.

Prior Qualifications:

An interest in and a desire to learn and develop your knowledge and skills in Admin and Compliance
A keen eye for detail, checking and maintaining standards is a must
The ability to assess needs and make recommendations
The ability to work alone and selfmotivated

Progression:
The successful completion of this apprenticeship could lead to a permanent position in our structure.

This then provides a wide range of further opportunities from Telesales to Field Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Transport and supervisory and management across the Bidfood UK business.
