  • 14478Vermont School is a special school for primary aged children who have social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). Our ethos is that children, families and staff are all part of the Vermont family that Belongs, Believes and Achieves together.
We are now looking for a Safeguarding, Welfare and Attendance Lead to join our team.

This is a challenging role for a talented leader and would suit a qualified social worker or an experienced EWO or DSL.

This role gives a real opportunity to make a difference to our young people's lives.

  • Experience of leading safeguarding in a school or other relevant organisation
  • Expert knowledge of safeguarding legislation and guidance
  • Ability to work with a range of people with the aim of ensuring the safety, welfare and good attendance of the children
  • Commitment to upholding and promoting the ethos and values of the school

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week. Term time plus an additional four weeks to be worked during the school holidays.
