We're looking for nurturing and patient male or female colleagues with a kind yet firm approach to support a young man in his first home.


The Role


You'll become part of a small team who supports a young gentleman who is transitioning into his own home for the first time.

You'll provide invaluable support which will help him to adjust to his new environment and learn new life skills to help him live as independently as possible.

The young man has a great sense of humour and is very curious when trying to push boundaries for attention so we'll need you to be great at communicating to help him in this new exciting chapter of his life.


As well as supporting this young gentleman with all aspects of daily living, you'll also support him navigate his last year at school, encourage him with his hobbies and interests and help him to access his local community too.

For this role it is essential you have a full UK manual driving licence.


About You


You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful.

We'll even fund your SVQ(SCQF level 5/6) qualification too

  • An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines
  • The ability to cook
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns


As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns usually fall into patterns of hours Monday-Friday (includes a sleepover) and hours the following day (includes a sleepover) at weekends.


The sleepover part of our sleepover shifts are not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional
£94.50 for every sleepover worked.


On a 39 hour contract you will have up to 3 sleepover shifts a week which gives you an additional payment of £14,742 a year.
