Academy Training & Match Day Coordinator

Hours Per Week:

  • Wednesday: 5pm 10pm
  • Friday: 5pm 10pm
  • Saturday: 8am 1pm (Home fixtures only)
  • Sunday 8am 1pm

Reporting to:
Head of Academy Operations


The Purpose

  • To manage Academy training and match day operations, for activities that are staged across all academy sites.
  • To provide an excellent level of care and attention, to organise daily operations and to ensure high standards are consistently met.

The Role

  • Ensure the smooth running of academy training nights, match days and festivals across various venues.
  • Ensure that away teams, staff, EFL & FA representatives, scouts, agents and match officials are greeted on arrival and hosted in a manner befitting the Stockport County Academy.
  • Ensure spectators (parental) (including visiting scouts) attendance is managed appropriately.
  • Ensure scouts are taken to the correct viewing area and that they are provided with scout passes.
  • Ensure site checks are completed before the arrival of teams including pitch and goal checks.
  • Ensure that the training ground pitches are accessible correctly via the gate management system.
  • Ensure that the correct signage is displayed ahead of both training and match day events.
  • Ensure relevant risk assessments are adhered to.
  • Produce post event reports for the Head of Academy Operations.
  • Other adhoc responsibilities as requested.

The Person
Experience of working as part of a team.

Experience in public facing work.

IT Proficient.

Safeguarding Training / Awareness.

Full Clean UK Driving License

Approachable, organised and conscientious approach to work.
