Option A are looking for sawmill yard workers for our client in East Lothian.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a sawmill and learn the whole trade from the bottom up. Starting as a labourer / machine operator and then getting trained to use forklifts and heavy plant.

Working in a busy sawmill that make wooden lengths from logs and trees.


Involves:

- lifting
- cutting
- using machinery
- using tools
- labouring
- setting up machines
- helping experienced sawmill workers and any other duties that need done on site.

  • Indoor and outdoor work.

£10.42 per hour, Monday to Thursday 8am till 5pm. Fridays 8am till 12am.
Due to the location of the yard, you need your own transport as their is no bus service.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract


Salary:
Up to £10.42 per hour
