£87 per day

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (full day)

Working with students with SEND including autism, Down syndrome, and SEMH within their SEND department.

Must have at least 3 months of experience supporting SEND students.

Are you a dedicated graduate seeking a fulfilling opportunity in the field of education? We are currently recruiting multiple Graduate Learning Support Assistants to join our highly regarded Secondary School in Ealing.

As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to support our KS3 & KS4 students in a nurturing school environment that values your expertise.

While previous education experience is not required, applicants must have a minimum of 3 months of experience supporting students with additional learning difficulties.

Additionally, the school offers the potential for fully funded teacher training in the academic year 2023/2024.

Responsibilities:

As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in Secondary School classes, specifically in Maths, English, and Science.
Collaborating closely with teachers to develop engaging and effective learning experiences for students.
Implementing individualized education plans and providing support to students with diverse abilities.
Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Working with students with SEND including autism, Down syndrome, and SEMH within their SEND department.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

A demonstrated enthusiasm for working with children and helping them succeed in their education.
Previous experience working with children, whether in a paid or voluntary capacity, is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Emotional intelligence and the ability to support a diverse range of pupils.
