Description

Who are we?

Reliance Cyber is a leading independent provider of cyber security services in the UK, known for outstanding customer service and independent and trusted advice that offers a 'one stop shop' for clients' cyber security needs.

We are passionate about our people and our customers, offering a fantastic culture where we firmly believe that we win as a team - we have ambitious growth plans and we'd love you to be part of our journey

About the role

This role will also take on some facilities and H&S based activities to ensure the smooth running of the office and employee wellbeing.

This role will require someone to be in our London office for part of the week, with the ability to work from home 2-3 days per week.

What will you be doing?
We have listed a few things that we believe will be at the heart of this role, and we can discuss this further at interview:

  • Drafting and sending employment offers, setting up new starters on the HR system, carrying out references and background checks for all employees and contractors.
  • Manage the general HR administration e.g. responding to holiday queries, changes to terms and conditions, processing length of service awards, corresponding with employee benefit platforms, probationary confirmation letters. arranging training requirements across the business.
  • Manage the HR inbox, escalating more complex queries as required to the HR Director.
  • Producing HR reports using the HRIS system, eg. holiday reports.
  • Be a custodian for HR data, ensuring accuracy and working in accordance with GDPR.
  • Supporting on and/or leading on HR projects.

Why are you the right person for this role?

You will come to us with some experience working in a small HR team but more importantly, you will have a can-do attitude with a personal style of rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in to whatever needs to be done We operate in a fast paced environment and this role offers a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a wide range of HR activities and specialisms.

You will have an excellent communication style which you are able to adapt to suit your audience, have a real eye for detail and be someone comfortable in challenging the status quo and driving for continuous improvement.

You should be competent with the main M365 suite of tools, such as Outlook, Word and Excel.

Knowledge of employment law would be desirable, as would an HR related qualification (or to be working towards it).

Get in touch

We firmly believe that it is about recruiting the right person, rather than being purely based on skills, so if you think you could excel in this role but perhaps fall short in just a couple of areas? Please do still get in touch, we'd love to hear from you.
