Contracts Manager


Primary Function of Role:


A key member of the Operational Management Team, responsible for the overall day-to-day running and smooth operation of designated sites, from implementation through to completion of the site in a timely, profitable, and safe manner working to the scope andprogram of works.


Main Duties Will Include:

  • Responsible for the overall daytoday running and smooth operation of designated projects.
  • To be the point of contact and oversee all communication between the client and the company
  • Liaising with clients, architects, structural engineers and main contractors to resolve any issues and design, precontract, during the course of works and postcompletion
  • Manage, monitor, review and oversee customer/client satisfaction
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are being correctly followed
  • Organise and Manage labour force on designated projects
  • Financial budget supervision and ensuring cost effectiveness and value for money of all contracts.
  • Internal coordination of contract requirements, informing all departments of details and deadlines Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a successful Contracts Manager
  • Minimum of 10 years experience working within the Construction Industry
  • Technical understanding of construction principles and trade sequencing
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings
  • Competent and confident manager, with strong team leadership and motivational skills
  • Proactive and well organised with an analytical approach to problem solving and operational issues
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Effective organisational ability
  • SMSTS
  • Management Level CSCS Card
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience in the spa and pool industry (preferred)
  • Relevant industry qualifications (preferred)
