Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Metallurgist to join our team.

As a Metallurgist, you will be responsible for analyzing and testing metals and alloys to ensure they meet quality standards.

Your expertise in systems engineering, data analysis, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in this role.


Duties:


  • Conduct metallurgical analysis and testing on various metals and alloys
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve any issues with material quality or performance
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop and improve manufacturing processes
  • Utilize software such as MATLAB, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD to analyze data and create schematics
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and GD&T requirements
  • Provide technical support to production teams, assisting with troubleshooting and problemsolving
  • Conduct failure analysis investigations to determine the cause of material failures
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality

Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience working as a Metallurgist or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles, materials science, and mechanical properties of metals
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as MATLAB or Excel for analyzing test results
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD for creating schematics and models
  • Experience with root cause analysis techniques for identifying material defects or failures
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
