This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strengthening Families Team in West Cumbria as a Clinical Lead. This is a permanent post and is for 37.5 hours per week.

The post is currently based in Workington and covers the Allerdale and Copeland (West) areas.

You will offer support and supervision to the team on a formal and ad-hoc basis. The supervision may be safeguarding, management or clinical and appraisals.


You will support the team to ensure that all clinical records within the integrated teams are maintained at the standard required by local NCIC Policy and professional guidelines.


You will promote a high standard of professional practice and will undertake mandatory training as in line with NCIC Policy and attend updates and study days as appropriate to the post setting an example to ensure that your team is also compliant.


Working closely with the other Clinical Leads you will be required to develop relationships within our own organisation and with partner agencies to support the safeguarding role and to achieve service development.

You will be responsible for HR duties such as managing absence, recruitment and capability.

£18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.


Enhanced Check:
£38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
