Social Media Executive - Glasgow, United Kingdom - Barrhead Travel

Barrhead Travel are on the hunt for a creative and commercially savvy Social Media Executive who will assist us to develop, implement, track and optimise our social media campaigns across all channels.
Key Tasks & ResponsibilitiesYou will work with a number of teams across the business to deliver our key campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and execute all paid and organic social media campaigns
- Manage the paid & organic social media content calendar and metrics across channels in support of business objectives
- Work with global team members to support development of content and creative for campaigns and daytoday execution
- Measure and report performance of all social media campaigns and assess against KPI's
- Responsible for planning and budgetary control of all social media channels
- Analysing results of campaigns and actioning improvements to drive better engagement and performance
- Identifying new and emerging social media channels
Essential skills:
- Proven working experience in managing large budget social media campaigns, minimum of £500K per year is essential.
- At least 2 years experience of social media working with large businesses would be an preferable.
- Social community management expertise
- Adept in building and delivering engaging content across multiple platforms
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver complex campaigns
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication, planning and project management skills
- Deadlinedriven with excellent time management to prioritise workloads
- Agency experience would be advantageous but not essential
