Description
EHS Projects operates across 3 offices in the UK, Bristol, Chester (8 people) and Sheffield (7 people).

The Sheffield team, just off Ecclesall Rd, are now looking to recruit a new consultant to work closely with one of our Lead Consultants for the next 6 months supporting a project focused on a large manufacturing facility in South Wales.

This is the ideal opportunity for either a recent graduate, or a graduate with work experience to join us in this role before the start of the Summer.

A typical week would consist of:

  • Gathering data through the review of client current process / assessment / plans
  • Analysing proposed assets, equipment, plant, undertaking risk assessments
  • Reviewing collated info, critical thinking, forming questions
  • Highlighting gaps in the data gathered, liaising with clients to fill these
  • Attending on site (less than once a week) to see the process, review in person, ask more questions
  • Collating and adding to the data already gathered
  • Thinking, reviewing, reporting findings, highlighting areas of risk via technical reports
  • Presenting to clients, informing on how to mitigate, offering solutions, but more importantly working with them to take them beyond compliance
  • Process Safety and Risk Management
  • Process Safety and Loss Prevention
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering
