I am currently supporting a well-established manufacturing business who are looking for a new Production Manager due to expansion. This role is a senior Production Manager role, reporting into the Operations Director.

The purpose of the role is to managean efficient production function that minimises cost and provides high quality standards, whilst also meeting production targets and customer needs.

Hours:
Day shift

Holidays: 23 + Bank Hols

The Production Manager will be responsible for;

Managing performance of equipment and individuals through effective KPI's.
Ensure that health & safety is at the front of all manufacturing processes.
Deliver continuous process improvement to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
Plan, monitor and control process, production and packaging operations to meet customer service levels at minimum cost.
Plan to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Prepare and meet departmental budgets.

In this varied role you will work alongside the Senior Management team to maximise the potential of the department.

You will be responsible for material planning, producing workshop schedules, labour resource and smooth running of the day to day tasks.

Youwill also ensure that staff are well trained, developed and motivated.

Previous experience within a large scale Production/Manufacturing environment is essential.
