Based in Cambridge UK is a small centre of excellence that develops specific drive technology, that is utilised in the wider group's portfolio of products.


The Role:

The role will involve complete product ownership from concept to completion, involving overseeing or being involved with the following:

  • Design of electronic systems controlled by mixed signal digital microprocessors
  • Design, Simulation, prototyping
  • Schematic design, PCB Layout (Altium)
  • Unit testing, integration testing and general product testing
  • Select and work with CEM when products are fit for manufacture
Whilst this role is centred around Power Electronics, it is not absolutely essential to come from this background.

  • Electronic, Power Electronic Engineering Degree
  • Some products or project ownership across similar electronics
  • Electronic Design Engineering experience
  • PCB Layout and Circuit design (Altium is essential)
  • SMPS, EMC Filtering, IGBT gate drive and protection
  • Knowledge of generalpurpose microcontroller & mixed signal design
  • Analogue Electronics competence (Including Signal Chain & Simulation)
