The University of Bath is seeking two new external committee members for its University Commercialisation Executive Board (UCEB).

This is an opportunity to make an impact by helping the University to realise its research commercialisation potential and enable it to strengthen its performance in entrepreneurial and commercial activity.

UCEB reports to the University's Finance Committee

Its key responsibilities include:

Developing the Technology Transfer Strategy to grow technology transfer activity;
Overseeing the University's interest in companies;
Providing advice and approving arrangements in relation to commercialisation and Intellectual Property; and
Monitoring progress against the business plan of investments.

The committee meets four times a year at our campus just outside of Bath. The total time commitment is estimated at one day per month. This is a voluntary role but reasonable expenses, including travel and accommodation, will be paid.
