Making a Difference as Administration Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our admin team and provide support for the delivery of educational psychology and learning support services.

The role includes a range of administrative duties, collaboration with colleagues in our SEND services and TESSA, contact with parents/carers, contact with staff in schools and settings, and liaison with partner agencies.

This supports our service delivery so that we can make a difference for children and young people attending schools and settings in St Helens.

It you are motivated and keen to support our effective service delivery to make a difference for children and young people in schools and settings, this role is for you.

Successful applicants will be highly skilled administration assistants who:

  • Can demonstrate effective administrative skills, including knowledge and use of computer software, including MS 36
  • Can respond sensitively, efficiently and effectively to enquiries from parents/carers, staff in schools and settings, colleagues in Children and Young People's Services and professionals from partner agencies
  • Can communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Can input and manage data
  • Can prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
Experience of working in an office environment and remotely would be beneficial.
