  • Job Purpose
  • To provide draughting services for the company as directed by the Drawing Office Manager
  • Job Description
Identify any key draughting issues or problems within the Drawing Office and inform the Drawing Office Manager.

  • Draughting interface and support for UKBU, TMOS, OED or any other client.
  • Review and checking of technical drawings to ensure they comply to office procedures.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as requested by the Drawing Office Manager

Essential:


  • Relevant draughting experience

Preferred:


  • Engineering draughting apprenticeship (or similar)
  • Skills
  • Expected to have good draughting experience of some of the following areas:


  • Rigid pipeline installation

  • stalks, pipelay procedures, associated fabrication and pipelay vessels.
  • General Fabrication welding, bolted connections, machining/tolerances, materials and practical fabrication knowledge.
  • Umbilical and Flexible installation packing, associated fabrication, installation procedures and routing.
  • Field layouts and approaches.
  • Spool fabrication and metrology.
  • Diver access and diving umbilical excursion lengths.
  • Lift plans and associated rigging.
  • Structure installation.
  • Precommissioning procedures.
  • Survey.
  • Trenching and rock dumping.
  • Marine operations and shipbuilding.
