Salary:
up to £150k base + ~£80k bonus


Job description:

Fantastic chance for a Java Developer to join one of the world's most prestigious hedge funds.

Business growth and expansion into new asset classes has led to the creation of this brand-new role, working closely with Equity Volatility & Converts PMs.

This is a very hands-on role, where you'll collaborate with Portfolio Managers to build a brand-new trading system from scratch - all greenfield work - so you must have previous experience of designing and delivering successful trading systems.

To be successful in this role, you will enjoy facing off to the business, with strong technical skills and business knowledge.


Skills and Experience Required:


  • Minimum 5+ years' experience with Java
  • A Volatility background or experience with equity derivatives (or possibly FX derivatives) knowledge is a musthave

Desirable:


  • C++, Python and Angular are useful to know as these technologies are also used in this area
