A fabulous four day, live out nanny position has become available in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. It is a fixed term position starting as soon as possible, until the end of August 2023.

The family is looking for an energetic and proactive nanny, with lots of initiative and able to hit the ground running.

You will be caring for a little girl aged three years and her baby brother aged one. Their Dad is Italian and their Mum is from Colombia. The children speak English at home, but a nanny who can speak fluent Italian or Spanish would be advantageous.

Although Mum and Dad both work from home, this is a sole charge role.

The family is active and enjoy trekking, swimming, travel and also cooking together.

You will need to be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence, to take the children to different activities.

There is a fully insured car to use while on duty.

The little girl is sociable and likes to be active.

The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones - with lots of educational and stimulating indoor fun (singing, playing games, reading, jigsaws, craft, imaginary games, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park.

They would like their children to attend play dates and groups, to allow them to mix with other children, ensuring that they are happy and safe at all times.

The role will include nursery duties (general care of the children, children's laundry, keeping their bedrooms tidy and organised, making sure they have everything needed for the following day, etc).

Any help to keep the home running smoothly will also be appreciated (emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms used are tidy at the end of the day, etc).

The parents like to cook and eat dinner with their children, so there will only be occasional cooking or preparation to be done.

Details of any training needed for this job: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12 hour Paediatric First AId
