What will you be doing?


As a QA Engineer, you'll work within one of the product development squads performing API and front-end testing within our lending platform.

Our client are looking for someone to support the development of an automated QA process, allowing us to focus onthe more challenging aspects of quality assurance.


Their platform is composed of leading modern software technologies deployed within the cloud, this was custom built from scratch and allows us to move fast with high quality and low risk.

They strive for new and innovative ways to achieve outcomes, and you'llhave the opportunity to use technologies that can accelerate or differentiate their capabilities.

Their tech roadmap is rapidly evolving, and they're deeply interested in developer experience, so no engineers get stuck by tech constraints, organisational debt,or unnecessary restrictive policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and executing test cases and following testing standards
  • Creating, maintaining and executing automation test scripts
  • Working and liaising with stakeholders, delivery managers, business analysts and developers within an agile development process
  • Ensure the quality remains high for the services delivered by the team
  • Serving as the owner of quality levels within the delivery team

What do you need?

  • Minimum 3 years of software testing experience with formal ISTQB accreditation (foundation or higher) or relative industry experience
  • Accurately recording the output of testing, logging defects with sufficient clarity and managing them throughout the defect lifecycle.
  • Experience in manual and automated testing for APIs using Postman.
  • Experience in understanding web automation testing.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries for interrogating databases during testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience in regression testing, usability testing, stress testing, acceptance testing, and exploratory testing.
