Lighthouse Hotel management are recruiting Reception Supervsior to be part of the team at TheHalyard, Rope Walks, Liverpool.

You will support the Front Office Manager in creating a high quality, yet relaxed and fun atmosphere for our guests.

You will ensure that you provide great service from the first impression to the moment they leave. Previous experience with Opera is an advantage but not esential.

You will of course be helping our guests with Check-in and Check-Out, however more than that you will have the opportunity to really get to know your guests in order to better anticipate their needs and deliver a truly personalised experience.

You will need to be pro active in solving guest queries and be able to do your best work while remaining cool and calm under pressure.


Responsibilities:


Customer Focus:

  • To ensure that the department creates a professional impression to guests and Team Members.
  • Evaluate and act promptly and effectively on customer feedback received through any and all channels to achieve positive and consistent results.

Business Awareness:

  • To be fully aware of budgeted and actual departmental financial targets. This to include occupancy, average room rates, yield and revenue.
  • To assist the Front Office manager in controlling payroll costs by allocating labour resources in line with forecasted business levels through payroll management.
  • To assist with managing departmental operating costs in line with forecasted business levels.

Growing the Business:

  • To positively approach sales opportunities in order to maximise sales revenue and exceed budgeted sales targets.
  • To support a selling service culture.
  • To ensure all department Team Members are sales focused.

People Management:

  • You will support a team environment which promotes good morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in the hotel.
  • Assist with the department Training Plan to meet business objectives and develop Team Members.
  • Carry out quality training and development in a systematic and professional way in order to meet the needs of the business and assist in individual Team Member's personal development.
